Stillwell Student Exhibition Promotion

Promotional materials I created for an exhibition while working at SF State’s Fine Arts Gallery. The Stillwell Student Exhibition is an annual student-juried show featuring works by undergraduate students, along with works by Leo J. Stillwell from the School of Art’s collection.

For this project, I had the unique restraint of not being allowed to use any of the works featured in the show as imagery. The ornate, gold picture frame is derived from a hand-drawing I made, speaking to the wide range of works and artists featured by simply stating: art. I adapted the design to a double-sided flyer, two sizes of poster, a large outdoor banner, and a square web ad.
